Since Skills.net received extra funding in 2000, an additional 164 Skills.net projects have been established to ensure Victorians of all ages, backgrounds and locations, can participate in online life. Just as in the early days of television people visited their neighbours to share in the new technology, Skills.net centres are offering community spaces for people to learn about online technology together.
