The State Government of Victoria funded the establishment of a Skills.net Association Co-operative Ltd (SNAC) to ensure Victoria's Skills.net centres prosper beyond their initial project term, and continue to offer online opportunities to those Victorians who do not have Internet access or skills.

SNAC exists to promote and facilitate best practice in the use of Information and Communication Technology in community development. SNAC is an independent, non-profit organisation, which has received an establishment grant from the Victorian State Government and in-kind support from VICNET.
